Manners and Fun Class!
Bond with your dog while learning the training foundations together!
This class teaches the foundation skills that will help you and your dog live together in harmony!
In this class your dog will learn the training basics, good manners and some other fun skills too!
Also covered is loose leash walking and what to do if your dog jumps up.

Private Lessons for Dogs and Puppies
Is your dog shy or fearful when other dogs are around? If so, a classroom full of dogs is not an ideal learning environment.
Do you think your dog will learn better and faster in a “tutoring” situation, with personal one-on-one attention from you and a patient professional dog trainer?
With one-on-one private training sessions, our trainer will give you hands-on lessons in handling and training your dog. Your dog learns all the skills from the group class, but without the distraction of other dogs.

Our Intro to Canine Agility class focuses on having fun while learning the fastest growing dog sport in the USA, Canine Agility! Exercise your dog's mind and body as they are introduced to different Agility obstacles like jumps, tires, tunnels, A-frames and dog walks! We'll use positive training methods to enable you and your dog to develop your relationship and teamwork skills.

Wag It Games Classes at P.A.W.S.!
Are you interested in increasing the bond between you and your dog? How about the kind of training that exercises both your dog’s body and mind? What about having tons of fun while learning new skills at the same time? Well, P.A.W.S. has the perfect class for you and your furry friend! Starting November 6th we’ll be offering Wag It Games dog training classes taught by our Certified Instructor right here at P.A.W.S.! We’ll focus on fun training games such as:
NO NEED FOR SPEED OBSTACLE SKILLS: Learning a numbered course of diverse obstacle challenges; SNIFF IT and Quarry Quest: which offer a variety of opportunities for your dog to learn to use their nose to find a scent, including sniffing out their “Quarry” in a ring full of obstacles.

MEET OUR TRAINER
Brandi Moore
Brandi is the shelter's resident trainer and has been training dogs at P.A.W.S. for three years. She’s worked with hundreds of shelter dogs, with various training and behavioral challenges, during that time, as well as teaching dog training classes offered to the public. Brandi is a Certified Wag It Games Instructor!
Brandi has been training dogs with positive reinforcement training techniques for twenty-three years. She has successfully competed in Rally obedience, earning multiple titles with her Sheltie, McLeod. She has trained and competed in Canine Agility for ten years, earning fifteen championships and numerous titles with her three Shelties, McLeod, Bonnie and Mac, and her Border Collie, McKenzie.
Brandi’s training goals are to create a trusting bond between you and your dog, while learning together using positive reinforcement techniques, all while having lots of fun!
We are pleased to have Brandi share her passion and experience as our P.A.W.S Resident Trainer!
